Tinubu Commissions Road, Flyover and Conference Centre in Imo State
President Bola Tinubu has commissioned key infrastructure projects in Imo, including a major road, twin flyover, and international conference centre.
He said the projects will boost access, economy, and regional development.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inaugurated three major infrastructure projects in Imo State the 52-kilometre Mbaise–Umuahia Road, the Control–Assumpta Twin Flyover, and the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Conference Centre.

The commissioning ceremony drew large numbers of residents, students, traditional rulers, and government officials, who witnessed cultural performances, music, and festivities that reflected the excitement surrounding the projects.
With the facilities now completed and open to the public, Imo State is expected to benefit from improved road access, stronger economic activity, and a modern venue capable of hosting major conferences and events.
President Tinubu, joined by Governor Hope Uzodimma and other dignitaries, stressed that the Federal Government remains committed to supporting infrastructure that promotes growth across the Southeast. The projects, many observers noted, represent a significant step forward for Imo, marking the start of a new phase of development anchored on strategic investments.
