Reports circulating online allege that Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has been arrested in London after a heated argument with his new wife, Natasha Osawaru.
The claim was made by blogger Tosin Silverdam, who alleged that the disagreement started shortly after the couple left the airport in a taxi and escalated when Natasha allegedly broke bottles, drawing police attention.
So far, neither 2Baba nor Natasha has issued a statement, and the report remains unverified. Still, the speculation has grown stronger as the singer was noticeably absent from his UK tour scheduled for October 2, 2025.
The development comes only weeks after 2Baba’s 50th birthday celebration on September 18, and about two months after he tied the knot with Natasha in a traditional ceremony held in July. It also follows his public separation from Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay earlier this year.
Since then, the singer’s private life has continued to attract interest, with Natasha herself recently making headlines when she penned a warm birthday message to him in September.
As of now, there has been no official confirmation of the alleged arrest from the singer’s team or authorities in the UK.
