Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has suspended Civil Service Commission Chairman.
She was directed to hand over government property immediately, though no reason was given for the suspension.
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has suspended the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Dr. Julie C. Onyeukwu. The decision was announced in a statement on Thursday by the Commissioner for Information, Public Orientation and Strategy, Declan Emelumba.
According to the statement, the governor approved the suspension with immediate effect and directed the embattled chairman to hand over all government property in her possession to the Permanent Secretary or the most senior official of the commission.
The commissioner did not disclose the reasons behind the suspension.
