DeeOne Completes 52-Hour Stand-Up Comedy Marathon, Awaits Guinness World Record Verification
DeeOne has completed a 52-hour stand-up marathon in Lagos, surpassing the current world record.
His feat awaits Guinness World Records’ confirmation after the inspiring performance.
Popular Nigerian comedian and reality TV star DeeOne has completed his Guinness World Record attempt for the longest individual stand-up comedy performance.

According to the Guinness World Records confirmation, DeeOne began his 52-hour attempt around 12 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, and concluded it successfully on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Speaking after the event, DeeOne said the record attempt was to inspire Nigerian youths and dreamers to keep striving, adding that “no goal is too high to achieve.”
The marathon comedy session, held at Pallazzo in Ikeja, Lagos, drew a large turnout of celebrities and colleagues, including Pamilerin, Acapella, FunnyBone, Uche Maduagwu, Husband Material, EmmaOhMaGod, K-Solo, Constance Owoyemi, Akinolu Jekins, and Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st, among others.
DeeOne’s performance lasted 52 hours and 42 minutes and is now awaiting official verification by the Guinness World Records team. The current record holder is American comedian Benny Elbows, who set the mark on April 25, 2025, after performing for 40 hours, 16 minutes, and 48 seconds.
