A young woman identified as Favour Francis has reportedly been kidnapped and k!lled by suspected abductors in Ombi Anzaku, a community in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The tragic incident was said to have taken place on Friday night, October 3, 2025. Her lifeless body was discovered in the early hours of Monday, October 6, causing outrage and fear among residents of the area.
According to community sources, Favour had only recently enrolled for her Higher National Diploma (HND) before the unfortunate event. Many described her as a cheerful and hardworking young lady with a promising future.
Eyewitnesses said she was abducted late at night by unknown assailants who reportedly took her away to an undisclosed location. Efforts by local vigilante members and residents to find her proved unsuccessful until her body was later found abandoned.
The news of her death has thrown the entire community into mourning, with many residents calling on security agencies to intensify patrols and protect young people living in the area.
Her remains have been deposited at a local hospital morgue, while police authorities are said to have commenced investigations to uncover those behind the crime and bring them to justice.
