She said the version seen online differed from her true self, shown during the reality show.
Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisioluwa Ayanwale, has opened up about her life before entering the reality show, saying that her ex-boyfriend was the one who supported her lifestyle on social media.
During her post-show interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Imisi said the version of herself seen online before joining Big Brother Naija was funded by her ex.
She said, “The Imisi you all saw on social media was sponsored by my Ex-boyfriend. He was the only person I had, and he liked me looking good.
“The way I dressed in the house was the real me, I didn’t fake anything. Honestly, I was even intimidated by some housemates’ fashion sense and the way they speak good English.”
Imisi, who won the ₦150 million grand prize on Sunday, October 5, 2025, said the experience taught her to stay true to herself and be proud of who she really is.
