Family members of late journalist Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu have released details of her burial arrangements.
The Arise TV reporter will be laid to rest in Agulu, Anambra State, on October 18.
The family of Arise Television reporter, Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, has announced plans for her burial following her tragic death after jumping from a three-storey building during a robbery incident in Abuja.
According to a statement from her family, the UK-trained lawyer and journalist will be laid to rest on Saturday, October 18, 2025, following a funeral service at Saint Theresa Catholic Church, Agulu, Anambra State.
A service of songs will be held ahead of the burial at the Corpus Christi Cathedral, Kaduna Street, Port Harcourt, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
Maduagwu, a former beauty queen and news reporter, passed away on September 29, 2025, after reportedly jumping from her apartment’s third floor in the Katampe area of Abuja during a robbery attack at her residence.
