Nigerian Woman Raises Alarm Over Doctor’s Inappropriate Request During Antenatal Visit
A Nigerian mother of two has accused a doctor of inappropriate conduct during an antenatal visit.
She alleged he made unnecessary requests during an examination and urged hospitals to monitor staff closely.
A Nigerian mother of two has recounted a troubling experience she had during an antenatal appointment at a hospital, alleging inappropriate conduct by a doctor.

In a video that has gained wide attention online, the woman said the doctor instructed her to lift her clothing for a routine examination, which she complied with. However, she claimed he went further to ask her to expose her chest, a request that left her confused since her visit had nothing to do with breast or chest complaints.
According to her account, when she questioned the unusual demand, the doctor quickly shifted his tone and asked whether she felt any discomfort in her chest, to which she responded negatively.
The woman added that the doctor later asked her to remove her face mask so he could “see her properly,” a request she declined, feeling uneasy about the entire interaction.
She urged hospital managements to monitor their medical staff closely, questioning the relevance of such a request during pregnancy care. “How does pregnancy examination relate to breasts?” she asked, calling for disciplinary measures against any health workers who exploit patients’ vulnerability.
