Former BBNaija Season 10 housemate Faith Adewale says he requested therapy several times before his disqualification.
He opened up about his struggles, regrets, and gratitude to fans in a reflective YouTube video.
Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Faith Adewale, has revealed that he repeatedly asked to see a therapist while in the Big Brother house before his disqualification earlier in October.
In a four-minute monologue shared on his YouTube channel on Friday, the 25-year-old medical doctor opened up about his emotional struggles, the events that led to his disqualification, and how the experience reshaped his outlook on life.
Faith, who was removed from the show after a physical altercation during the “10/10” edition, began the video with a reflective tone, saying, “Faith is dead, but before he passed on, he wanted to tell you stories that meant the world to him.”
He recalled that his Big Brother journey started with a text message that changed his life. “On March 5, 2025, I got a text message that flipped my world upside down. One click on that link and everything changed,” he said.
Faith explained that he had returned to Nigeria in December 2024 uncertain about his future as a doctor. “I was frustrated about what to do in this country as a doctor. But somehow, clicking that link led me to Africa’s biggest reality show. I took a loan of N5 million, and somehow I made it,” he said.
Reflecting on his time in the house, Faith admitted that he was emotionally overwhelmed. “I wasn’t perfect. I made a lot of mistakes, I was isolated and felt lost. I asked to see a therapist more than three times because I knew I needed help,” he revealed.
Despite the disqualification, Faith expressed deep gratitude to his supporters. “Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’ve never met were shouting my name and spending their hard-earned money to keep me in that house,” he said.
He ended the video with a hopeful message: “This is Faith Adewale, the dreamer, the doctor, the creator, the entertainer, your latest reality TV star. I’m ready to make magic with you all.”
