Singer Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, has taken a swipe at Wizkid following the latter’s recent declaration of himself as the number one artiste in Nigeria.
Wizkid had earlier caused a stir on social media after posting on his Instagram story that he is “001” of the Nigerian music industry, a statement that reignited debates about supremacy among Nigeria’s top Afrobeats stars, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
The discussion, which has continued to divide fans online, gained more attention after singer Tiwa Savage weighed in, describing Davido as “001” and Burna Boy as “002.”
Reacting in the comment section of a viral post, Israel DMW mocked Wizkid’s claim, suggesting that real success should be proven through hit songs rather than words.
