The initiative was unveiled during a thanksgiving service on Sunday, October 12, at the National Christian Centre in Abuja.

The event, coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), was organized by a group of Seyi Tinubu’s associates.

According to the organizers, the Bible distribution aims to encourage moral renewal, promote ethical leadership, and inspire civic responsibility among young Nigerians. They noted that the copies will be shared through churches, schools, and community groups across the country in the coming weeks.

The first batch of Bibles was officially presented during the thanksgiving event, which reportedly took place simultaneously in about 40 churches nationwide.

In a goodwill message read on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu conveyed gratitude to the organizers and expressed hope that the gesture would inspire young Nigerians to uphold values of integrity, compassion, and service.

Following the announcement, several Nigerians shared mixed reactions on X, with some commending the effort while others questioned its intention and timing.
