Seyi Shay has revealed that her baby daddy is a Nigerian working in the entertainment industry.
She said they are not married but remain close friends who co-parent their daughter peacefully.
Nigerian singer Seyi Shay has disclosed that her baby daddy is a Nigerian who also works in the entertainment industry, though she chose not to reveal his name.
The singer made this known during a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where she spoke about motherhood and her current relationship with her child’s father.
Seyi, who welcomed her daughter in 2022, said that while they are not married, they share a strong friendship and co-parent their child peacefully.
She said, “Her dad is Nigerian, from Nigeria. And we’re really brilliant friends now, and we coparent really well. We’re not married. It’s a technical issue but because he’s not here, I don’t want to speak too much because I’ve not discussed with him about how he might feel.”
Describing him as someone special, Seyi added that her daughter’s father works in the music industry, specifically on the corporate side.
“He’s someone that is very special to me and this is my daughter’s father. But he’s great, he’s cool, he’s around, he’s in the UK at the moment. He’s also in the music industry, on the corporate side of things. And we just work well together, raising our child. We’re great friends,” she said.
