TikTok Star Mainly Mannie Reveals He’s HIV Positive, Says His Ex Gave Him the Virus

Mainly Mannie has revealed he’s HIV positive, saying he contracted the virus from his ex-boyfriend.

He shared the news in an emotional hospital video, thanking God for strength and recovery.

Popular TikTok creator Mainly Mannie has revealed that he is HIV positive, saying he contracted the virus from his ex-boyfriend.

The social media star, known as the “Boss and CEO” to his 1.4 million TikTok followers, made the revelation in an emotional video shared from his hospital bed.

“I’m a lucky person. Blessed. I just wanna tell you guys a few things,” he began in the clip, which has already gained over two million views.

“Life has been trying to take me out lately,” he continued. “From the accidents, the sicknesses, and stuff, and then me finding out I had AIDs and HIV summertime of this year. I couldn’t walk after the summer.”

Despite the diagnosis, Mannie said he doesn’t see himself as a victim.

“Listen, I am not the victim here,” he said. “Yes, my ex gave me this and I didn’t know, he hid a lot of things. But I’m not a victim because I had signs. I was so deep in love. But God is good. I know now.”

The TikTok star added that he is currently receiving treatment and is on HIV medication that costs about $4,000 per month.

“So, I’m gonna be working a lot,” he said with a smile. “I think I’m gonna register for foundations and stuff. Not I think, I am. I’m feeling way better. I feel like me. I feel like the Boss and CEO!”

In his caption, Mannie thanked God for his recovery journey and encouraged others living with HIV to stay strong. He wrote: “I’m so glad that life has finally started for me! I’ve always been grateful. God bless each and every one who has HIV/AIDS. Your health is important.”
