Uriel Oputa Slams Nigerians for Judging Women Over Having Children
Uriel Oputa has slammed Nigerians who judge women’s choices about motherhood, calling such criticism insensitive.
The ex-BBNaija star urged people to respect women’s journeys and stop policing their private lives.
Reality TV star Uriel Oputa has criticized Nigerians who judge women for their decisions about motherhood.

In a post on social media, the former Big Brother Naija housemate said she dislikes how people discuss women’s private lives and health online.
According to her, many forget that women who become mothers are real people with feelings, struggles, and pain.
“So what if a woman brings a child into the world?” she asked. “Instead of celebrating life, people start comparing, saying things like ‘when I was breastfeeding, I didn’t do this’ or ‘why didn’t she do that?’ Everyone’s story is different. Even siblings from the same parents aren’t the same.”
She also mentioned how celebrities like Toke Makinwa, Tiwa Savage, and Hilda Baci are often unfairly criticized, asking why people feel the need to analyze their lives.
“Are you them?” she asked. “Everyone’s journey is unique. Nigerians can really be shameless sometimes.”
In her caption, Uriel said it’s sad to see people attack women for bringing life into the world. She urged Nigerians to be kinder and focus on their own growth.
