Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, was reportedly involved in a heated altercation at a hotel in Abuja following a disagreement over an alleged N200,000.
The confrontation, according to eyewitnesses, began in the early hours of Tuesday inside Phyna’s hotel room before escalating into the lobby, drawing the attention of other guests and hotel staff.
Sources said the dispute was linked to an unsettled financial matter involving N200,000, which quickly turned into a loud argument. Neither side was willing to compromise, leading to physical pushing and commotion within the premises.
The situation reportedly intensified when more people connected to both parties joined the fray, turning what started as a verbal exchange into a full-blown physical fight.
Security officers and police were eventually called to intervene and restore calm, with teargas allegedly deployed to disperse the crowd.
The incident comes just weeks after Phyna made a return to public appearances following the tragic death of her sister in an accident involving a Dangote truck.
