Wike: Nigerians Owe Tinubu for Progress Achieved Under His Leadership
Nyesom Wike has praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership for driving major infrastructural progress in Abuja.
He said Nigerians owe the president gratitude for the visible transformation across the capital.
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has credited President Bola Tinubu’s leadership for the visible progress made in the nation’s capital, saying Nigerians owe the president for the achievements recorded under his administration.

Wike made the remarks during the commissioning of completed access roads in Sector Centre B, Dakibiyu District, Abuja, on Tuesday.
According to the minister, the completion of the roads and other infrastructural projects in the area was made possible through Tinubu’s commitment to effective governance and visionary leadership.
He said, “Through the president’s leadership, all the roads in this district have been completed, and in the coming months, more projects will be commissioned. The Court of Appeal Division here will also be inaugurated soon by the president.”
Wike further noted that genuine progress becomes achievable when a nation has a capable leader at the helm.
“When there is the right leadership, unexpected results follow. President Tinubu has provided that kind of leadership, and that is why these achievements are possible,” he stated.
Reflecting on the transformation of the area, the minister added, “Anyone familiar with this place will recall what it used to look like. Today, Dakibiyu is no longer the same. Nigerians truly owe the president gratitude for this progress. People may talk, but when you stay focused, the results will always speak for themselves.”
