Activist Deji Adeyanju has mocked influencer Ola of Lagos after his car showroom was demolished.
He claimed Ola only rented part of the space but falsely flaunted it as his own.
Popular activist Deji Adeyanju has taken a swipe at celebrity car reviewer and influencer Ola of Lagos following the demolition of his car showroom in Lagos State.
Ola of Lagos, whose real name is Waris Olayinka Akinwande, had earlier confirmed the demolition in a post on social media, assuring his followers that his business remained operational and promising to open a new and bigger showroom soon.
Reacting to the incident, Adeyanju claimed in a post on X that Ola never owned the demolished property, alleging that he only rented a small office space there but presented it online as his car stand.
He wrote, “The car stand demolished in Lagos was for my friend Elvis of SKYWISE Autos, but one guy who rented a mini office there was claiming ownership. If you like, believe online fake life on the gram and let them put you under pressure.”
Adeyanju advised Nigerians not to be deceived by what they see on social media, stressing that many people exaggerate their achievements to appear more successful than they are.
