Ghanaian Singer Moliy Clashes with Zinoleesky, Says She Doesn’t Roll with ‘Local Champions’
A social media clash erupted between Ghana’s Moliy and Nigeria’s Zinoleesky over a rumored collaboration.
Moliy denied knowing him, prompting Zinoleesky to label her a “two-hit wonder.”
A heated social media exchange erupted on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, between Ghanaian singer Moliy and Nigerian rapper Zinoleesky after Moliy dismissed rumors of a potential collaboration with him.

The drama began when Moliy retweeted a flyer promoting the supposed collaboration, replying with a curt “Who?” implying she didn’t know the Nigerian artist.
Her response triggered Zinoleesky, who fired back, describing Moliy as a “two-hit wonder” and claiming he barely knew her songs. “2 hits wonder… and I don’t even know the 2nd song @Moliymusic,” he wrote.
In a quick response, Moliy mocked Zinoleesky, saying she was proud not to be known by “local champions.” “Very grateful to not be known by you. Artists that know me aren’t local champions,” she wrote.
The clash sparked reactions from fans of both artists, with some Nigerian supporters of Zinoleesky threatening to cancel Moliy in Nigeria.
While Zinoleesky remains a strong name in Nigeria’s street-hop scene, Moliy is more popular in the UK and US Afrobeats space, with multiple chart entries including her hit “Shake It To The Max Remix,” which currently tops the US Billboard Afrobeats Chart.
