She claimed the clip was edited to mislead viewers and insisted she was the one attacked.
Reality TV star Phyna has broken her silence following the viral video of a violent altercation at a hotel in Abuja, claiming the footage was manipulated to portray her as being beaten.
Taking to Instagram, the former Big Brother Naija winner insisted she was attacked and that the viral clip was deliberately cropped to distort the truth.
“Who I beat dey hospital. Dem carry touts come fight and people to record. I was attacked from behind on my way out; dem even crop the video just to twist story say dem beat me,” she wrote. “Make una rest! The girl wey I beat never even regain consciousness. Pray for me make who I beat no die.”
Phyna alleged that a group of people were hired to confront her while others filmed the incident to spread false narratives online.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement, as fans continue to pray for the recovery of the injured individual.
