Iwobi, who has played 298 Premier League matches so far, currently shares the record with former Newcastle United forward Shola Ameobi. The 29-year-old will move ahead if he makes an appearance against his former club this weekend.
The midfielder has achieved this milestone while representing three English clubs, Arsenal, Everton, and Fulham. Iwobi made his Premier League debut for Arsenal in a match against Swansea City on October 27, 2015, marking the start of a remarkable career.
