Gospel singer Moses Bliss has revealed he met his wife, Marie Wiseborn, through an Instagram dance video.
He said her post caught his attention while he was praying for a life partner.
Popular Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter, Moses Bliss, has shared the story of how he met his wife, Marie Wiseborn, through a dance video she posted on Instagram.
Speaking during an interview with Reverend Kathy Kiuna, Bliss revealed that his first encounter with Marie came after she uploaded a video of herself dancing to one of his songs.
He explained that at the time, he was actively praying for a life partner and often checked posts where fans tagged him, while seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit before making any move.
“We met on Instagram, and she danced to my song. That year, I was really looking. If anybody tagged me, I’d go and check. As I was checking, I was also consulting the Spirit, asking the Holy Ghost, ‘What are you saying?’” he said.
HE added that he sent Marie a direct message and dropped his number to show his interest.
“I liked the dance, and to register my interest, I dropped my number. I’m not scared of anybody. If I like you, I’ll message you. I’m very bold. But she respectfully requested we keep the conversation on Instagram,” he added.
Moses Bliss, known for hit gospel songs such as ‘Too Faithful’ and ‘Bigger Everyday’, proposed to the Ghanaian Lawyer, Marie Wiseborn, on the 19th of January 2024, followed by a civil wedding on the 27th of February 2024, then proceeded with a traditional ceremony held in Accra, Ghana, on the 29th of February 2024.
