American rapper Yung Miami has accused South African singer Tyla of copying her unreleased song. The rapper made the claim after Tyla teased her upcoming single titled ‘Chanel’ on social media on Thursday.

According to Yung Miami, she had earlier played her own unreleased track also titled Chanel, for Tyla, only to later discover that the South African star was releasing a song with the same concept.
“This girl really ran off with my song, and I don’t know how to feel about it. Mind you, I played this song for this girl,” she wrote in a post expressing her disappointment.
When a fan asked for clarification, Yung Miami confirmed that her comment was directed at Tyla.
The accusation has since stirred debate online about song originality and creative exchange between African and African-American artists.
As of the time of this report, Tyla has not responded to the allegations.
