LASU Invites Students to Join Digital Project Under Study-Work Initiative
Lagos State University has invited students to join its digitization project under the Study Work Scheme.
The exercise will convert academic documents into digital formats to boost open learning access.
Lagos State University (LASU) has opened applications for undergraduate students to participate in a digitization exercise as part of its Study Work Scheme.

According to the university, the selected students will help develop the institution’s Open Educational Resources (OER) Portal, which aims to make learning materials more accessible to the academic community.
In a statement, LASU said the initiative will involve converting and organizing student projects and other academic documents into digital formats. The exercise is designed to promote open access to learning resources and strengthen the university’s online academic database.
The opportunity is open to students in 300-level and above who have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0. Applicants are also expected to be proficient in digital tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and basic internet operations.
The project will take place from November 3 to 15, 2025, at the LASU Postgraduate School. Each participant will work for about two to three hours daily and will receive a stipend after completing the assignment.
Applications will be accepted from October 20 to 22, 2025, through the official link provided by the university: https://forms.gle/qz1Y7PTW4Hba1xT69. Shortlisted applicants will later be invited for an interview.
LASU described the program as a practical platform for students to gain digital experience while contributing to the university’s academic development.
