In a post shared via her Instagram story, the former Big Brother Naija winner alleged that the hotel management accused her of damaging property worth ₦3.5 million and insisted she remain in custody until she pays for the loss.

Phyna explained that the confrontation began when some individuals she knew allegedly entered the hotel and attacked her, causing chaos and destruction within the premises. She said the intruders gained access to her room through the hotel’s main gate and reception area, a situation she described as “negligence” on the part of the management.

The reality star stated that she requested CCTV footage to verify what happened, but claimed both the hotel and police refused to provide it. She also accused the hotel of failing to ensure her safety and handling the matter unfairly.

“Dalchifit hotel in Gwarinpa allowed touts to come in the hotel to fight me, and now they are about to lock me up till Monday because I refused to pay for a damage of ₦3.5 million. Please, I’m in prison right now,” she wrote.

She further alleged that the hotel deliberately gave out her room number to the attackers, adding that despite her demands for transparency, she has been detained while the CCTV evidence remains withheld.

As of the time of this report, Dalchifit Hotel and the Gwarinpa Police Division have not publicly commented on Phyna’s allegations.
