Traditional music star John Zuya, popularly known as John Mai Molo, has reportedly d!ed after allegedly being poisoned in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

The renowned entertainer, celebrated for his captivating performances and traditional songs, was said to have returned from Lagos on October 16 after a recent performance before the tragic incident occurred.
According to reports, Zuya began to show signs of distress shortly after consuming suspected poisoned food and later collapsed. He was immediately rushed to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) in Bauchi, where doctors confirmed him de@d.
A fellow musician and close friend, Emma Wakili, confirmed the sad news on Facebook, writing: “It is confirmed that John Zuya passed on this morning at 7:00 a.m. His body has been placed in the mortuary as we move forward with the investigation.”
Zuya’s body has since been deposited at the hospital’s morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of de@th.
