Georgina Onuoha Blasts Ned Nwoko Over Drug Allegations Against Regina Daniels
Actress Georgina Onuoha has slammed Senator Ned Nwoko for accusing his wife, Regina Daniels, of drug abuse.
She described his statement as shameful, questioning how his young wife became the target.
Actress Georgina Onuoha has taken a swipe at Senator Ned Nwoko over his recent statement accusing his wife, Regina Daniels, of drug abuse.

Her reaction came hours after the lawmaker issued a statement alleging that the actress was struggling with substance use, a claim that followed a viral video showing Regina tearfully lamenting alleged domestic violence in her marriage.
In a strongly worded video posted on Sunday, October 20, Georgina criticized Nwoko’s comments, describing them as “shameful and hypocritical.” She questioned how a woman he began courting at 16 and married at 18 could suddenly be labeled a drug user.
She said:
“The fact that this old man put out a press release that his 25-year-old wife whom he started courting when she was 16 and married when she was 18 and fathered a child right away with her is a drug abuser….we are all claiming and shouting that he is ‘right’. Does it mean that in our book, might is right?”
Georgina explained that she is not a fan of Regina Daniels. She highlights that she sees Daniels as a little girl who was made a victim of society when her irresponsible and greedy mother sacrificed her youth and future for money to an ancient and modern old man.
“Let me ask you, Senator Ned, at what point was a girl whom you started courting at 16 and married at 18 become a drug dealer? When she married you, she was whole, young, naive… you claim she was a virgin. At what point did that virgin become a drug dealer? A child you were supposed to nurture and provide for? At what point?,” she said.
Georgina further condemned the senator for allegedly ignoring the situation if he had known about any drug use in his home. She called on authorities to investigate both the domestic violence claims made by Regina and the drug allegations made by her husband.
The actress concluded by urging Nigerians not to stay silent in the face of what she described as the “public shaming of a young woman” who once represented innocence in the eyes of the man now condemning her.
