Iyabo Ojo Issues Final Warning to Facebook Impersonator Over Fake Page

Actress Iyabo Ojo has warned an impersonator running a fake Facebook page with over 2.7 million followers.

She demanded the immediate removal of her photos and name, calling the act fraudulent and deceptive.

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has issued a stern warning to an impersonator running a fake Facebook account in her name. The actress expressed outrage after discovering that the fraudulent page, with over 2.7 million followers, has been using her photos and identity to spread false news and mislead fans.

Ojo

In a video shared on Instagram, Iyabo Ojo clarified that she has no connection to the page, which she said was initially reported but later renamed “Iyabo Ojo Lovers” to appear as a fan page. She warned the person behind it to delete all her photos and stop using her name immediately.

“This video is directed to whoever is impersonating me. Take my name and picture off that page. Because the next time you look for it, it will be gone. I’m not joking,” she said.

Iyabo accused the impersonator of copying her posts and pretending to be her, misleading the public into thinking she runs a blog. She described the act as “madness” and cautioned the culprit to create their own platform instead of exploiting her brand.

The actress also revealed that similar impersonations exist on other platforms, including TikTok, and urged fans to be cautious.
