Ryan Taylor Reveals Why His Engagement to DJ Cuppy Ended
British YouTuber Ryan Taylor has finally spoken about his failed engagement to Nigerian DJ Cuppy.
He revealed on a podcast that their relationship collapsed over her alleged dislike for Nigerians.
British YouTuber and BMX rider Ryan Taylor has finally opened up about his short-lived engagement to Nigerian DJ and billionaire heiress Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, more than two years after their breakup.

Speaking on The Ladders Podcast, the 32-year-old influencer shared details about their relationship, alleging that one of the major issues was Cuppy’s attitude toward Nigerians.
Taylor claimed that the DJ “didn’t like Nigerians” and even refused to work with Nigerian staff during their time together.
He said:
“Is it weird that I told you she didn’t like Nigerians? She came into my business and didn’t even want Nigerian staff.”
The British entertainer, who got engaged to Cuppy in December 2022 after just 25 days of dating, said he walked away from the relationship with no regrets, describing it as a learning experience.
“To be honest, what I got from that was lessons. Everything that happens, happens for a reason. But do I regret it? No. Lesson learned. Next!” he added.
When asked what he learned from the failed relationship, Taylor replied:
“I learned that money is not everything, but not having it is.”
Cuppy and Taylor’s whirlwind romance grabbed headlines after their engagement, which took place during the Gumball 3000 rally in Dubai. However, by mid-2023, the couple had unfollowed each other on social media, confirming speculations of a breakup.
The split later played out online after Cuppy tweeted, “I never run into my ex’s… They can’t afford to be where I be without me,” to which Taylor replied, “Neither can you.”
