Popular media personality and influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa has taken to social media to celebrate his mother, Dr. (Mrs.) Bola Adeoluwa, after she successfully earned her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Enioluwa praised his mother’s remarkable dedication to education and perseverance, revealing that her journey to academic excellence was anything but ordinary.
“When it comes to academics, everyone always talks about my dad, and rightly so, he’s a Professor. But my mum? She’s not often remembered in that same light… Yet what most people don’t know is that she’s always been the quiet force behind the scenes,” he wrote.
According to the influencer, his mother’s academic pursuit was marked by resilience and determination. She returned to rewrite WAEC just so she could retake Mathematics, and at the age of 45, she boldly went back to school to obtain another first degree, a move Enioluwa described as proof that “age is no barrier to achieving one’s dreams.”
