A nurse identified as Hadiza Musa has been k!lled by suspected one-chance robbers in Zaria, Kaduna State, after being attacked and thrown out of a moving commercial tricycle.

The tragic incident occurred on Monday evening, October 20, 2025, when the victim boarded a tricycle without knowing that the occupants were members of a robbery syndicate that targets unsuspecting passengers.
According to eyewitnesses, Hadiza was pushed out of the moving vehicle after being assaulted and robbed by the criminals. She sustained severe injuries and was later confirmed de@d.
The deceased was a staff member of the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, where she was also buried according to Islamic rites. Colleagues and friends described her as a dedicated nurse who served with compassion and professionalism.
One of her colleagues expressed sadness over the incident, saying, “Hadiza was hardworking, caring, and selfless. Her de@th is a great loss to the hospital and the nursing community. May Allah forgive her and grant her eternal rest.”
The incident left many residents of Zaria deeply concerned, prompting calls for security agencies to increase patrols and go after criminal gangs using commercial vehicles to commit crimes.
