American singer and model Chlöe Bailey has opened up about her decision to keep her love life out of the public eye, especially her reported relationship with Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Chlöe said she chose privacy to prevent people from using her relationship to question her credibility or distract from her music career. According to her, fans and critics often twist narratives when artists go public with their personal lives.
“I decided to keep my relationship private because people on the internet tend to take advantage of it to discredit my music career and all,” she said.
Chlöe and Burna Boy’s romance reportedly began in late 2024 after she visited Lagos, where they were spotted together on multiple occasions, including during a studio session for a collaborative project. The pair’s public appearances sparked widespread speculation about their relationship.
While reports in early 2025 confirmed they were dating, both artists have since remained silent on their current status.
