Music executive Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly survived a frightening att@ck inside the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, where he is currently serving his prison sentence.
According to Diddy’s close friend, Charlucci Finney, the rapper and entrepreneur woke up one night to find an inmate holding a kn!fe to his thro@t. Finney told Daily Mail that it was a life-threatening moment, though he could not confirm whether guards intervened or if Diddy managed to defend himself. He described it as “a very close call.”
Sources also confirmed the story to TMZ, describing the ass@ult as a targeted act meant to intimidate the music mogul. Finney added that prison life is especially risky for inmates with sex-related convictions.
During Diddy’s recent sentencing, his attorney Brian Steel referred to the same incident, noting that a prison guard stopped the att@ck before serious harm occurred.
Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal sentence after being convicted of violating the Mann Act but was cleared of sex-trafficking and racketeering charges.
Meanwhile, rumors of a potential presidential pardon by Donald Trump have circulated, though the White House has denied the claim. Diddy’s friends say his safety remains a serious concern following the “terrifying” encounter.
