Erigga has called out the ongoing clash between rappers Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck, saying it hurts Nigerian hip-hop.

He urged fans and artists to promote unity instead of fueling unnecessary conflict.

Nigerian rapper Erigga has expressed concern over the ongoing feud between fellow rappers Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck, describing it as damaging to the country’s hip-hop culture.

Speaking in a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, the “Paper Boi” crooner said the rivalry has created unnecessary tension within the music industry, forcing artists and fans to pick sides. He blamed fans for fueling the conflict, saying many are more interested in drama than in celebrating genuine artistic achievements.

“Nigerian fans like it when rappers fight. The ongoing beef between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez is bad for the culture because it allows outsiders who don’t care about hip-hop to bring in their crazy opinions,” Erigga said.

He added that while rap battles are an age-old tradition in hip-hop, constant feuds can weaken the unity and growth of the genre. “Beef brings attention, but it doesn’t help the culture,” he stressed.

Erigga, who counts both Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck as close colleagues, admitted that the situation has made the atmosphere in the rap community uncomfortable, urging fans and artists to prioritize collaboration over confrontation.
