Through the app, users can now invest directly in any of FCMB Asset Management’s mutual funds, which include the conservative Legacy Money Market Fund, the growth-focused Legacy Equity Fund, the fixed-income Legacy Debt Fund, and the dollar-based Legacy USD Bond Fund. Each fund is tailored to suit different investor needs, ranging from short-term savings and income stability to long-term capital growth.

Yemisi Edun, Managing Director of First City Monument Bank, explained that the initiative was designed to help customers manage all aspects of their finances within one secure platform. The rollout of mutual fund access on the FCMB app supports the Group’s wider vision of fostering digital inclusion and connecting its various business segments banking, consumer finance, and asset management into one cohesive platform for sustainable economic empowerment.
