Ned Nwoko Denies Claims Linking Him to Young Woman in Viral Video
Senator Ned Nwoko denies having any personal ties with a woman seen beside him in a viral video.
He says the claims are false and warns those spreading the story to stop or face legal action.
Senator Ned Nwoko has dismissed claims suggesting he has a personal relationship with a young woman seen with him in a video that has been widely shared on social media. The politician and husband of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels said the trending clip is being wrongly interpreted and spread to mislead the public.

In a statement posted on his Instagram page, Nwoko said the woman visited him alongside others who are members of a Peace Ambassadors initiative led by Ambassador Adejo Sule. He stated that he often receives different groups at his residence and photos are usually taken after such visits. According to him, the images from this particular visit have been twisted by people who enjoy creating false information online.
He described the claims as untrue and said there was no kind of personal link between him and the lady shown in the video. He added that social media users should stop sharing misleading content that can damage reputations and cause unnecessary drama.
The senator warned those spreading the story to stop or face legal consequences. He reminded the public that the Cybercrime Act of 2015 is in effect and will be used against anyone who continues to circulate false allegations.
Nwoko said, “The news being circulated is entirely false. I do not have any form of personal or private connection with her.” He added that any further attempt to push the false story would lead to legal action.
He urged the public to be more careful with the kind of information they accept or share online, noting that some people take advantage of social platforms to promote lies and chase attention.
