Other FRSC personnel quickly rush in to stop the situation from getting worse, pulling the driver away from their colleague. Several bystanders recorded the incident while raising their voices in shock at what was happening in the middle of the road.

A voice in the background is heard accusing the officer of trying to get money from the driver. The speaker claims the driver reacted after he was hit on the hand with a traffic cone while still behind the steering wheel. This claim has not been officially confirmed.

The video has led to new discussions about the relationship between motorists and traffic officers, with many Nigerians questioning the conduct of both sides. Some viewers say harassment by road officials remains a serious concern, while others believe assaulting an officer is never acceptable. Authorities have not yet released a statement on the incident.
