President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is holding a private meeting with the newly appointed Service Chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Although the agenda has not been made public, sources say the discussion is focused on boosting Nigeria’s security structure and improving teamwork among the armed forces.
The meeting follows the President’s recent approval of a fresh team of military leaders. The Presidency earlier said the appointments are part of plans to improve professionalism, efficiency, and accountability in the security sector.
Those attending include the Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, Chief of Army Staff, Major General Waidi Shaibu, Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Kennedy Aneke, and Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Idi Abbas.
The discussion is expected to guide the new leadership as they set key goals. These will likely include stronger action against terrorism, better handling of internal security, and closer cooperation among all security agencies.
