Comedian and actor Woli Arole has reacted to the popular social media saying, “I prefer to cry in a Lamborghini than smile in a Marwa,” warning people not to be carried away by such thinking.
In a post on Instagram, the UK-based entertainer said the phrase promotes the wrong values and could mislead young people into believing that wealth is more important than peace of mind.
Sharing his thoughts, he wrote;
“I prefer to cry in a Lamborghini than smile in a Marwa, it’s a useless statement oooo. Don’t say it with people oooo!!! Your cry in Lambo can be for a lifetime oooo!!! Think it twice.”
Woli Arole encouraged his followers to value joy and contentment instead of chasing wealth that cannot guarantee happiness.
