Governor Zulum says Borno will remain loyal to APC and support President Tinubu strongly.
He says the state will help new APC registration succeed and build stronger national unity.
Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has reaffirmed that the state will continue to show full loyalty to the All Progressives Congress. He said Borno would deliver massive support to President Bola Tinubu when Nigerians go to the polls again in 2027.
Zulum made this statement in Maiduguri during the launch of the APC North East electronic registration exercise. He pledged that his administration would give all needed assistance to make sure the new membership registration succeeds in every part of the region.
The governor praised the federal government for bringing back peace after many tough years caused by insurgent attacks. According to him, Borno has enjoyed better security under the APC. He said, “Borno is 100% APC. Before the APC came, our people were living in fear, but today the story has changed.”
He also applauded former President Muhammadu Buhari and President Tinubu for their work in the fight against terrorism and the rebuilding of destroyed towns and villages. Zulum pointed to the efforts of the North East Development Commission in restoring damaged communities and improving the lives of displaced residents.
Governor Zulum encouraged APC supporters in Borno to continue mobilizing for the president’s second term. He said President Tinubu deserves continued support for the progress and unity of Nigeria.
