Odumodublvck Calls Nigerian Politics “Shambolic,” Says Power Corrupts Good Leaders
Odumodublvck says Nigerian politics is chaotic and disappointing as power changes people.
He urges Nigerians to hold all leaders accountable instead of focusing only on the President.
Popular Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, has described Nigerian politics as chaotic and disappointing.

The rapper said Nigerian politics often fails because power can change people, even when they initially have good intentions. He explained on the BET Talks podcast that many leaders lose track of their values once they gain authority.
“Politics in Nigeria is a shambolic scene like everywhere in the world. When you gives man power, it never really goes as planned regardless of whether the person is good or bad.”
He also noted that if a leader starts out good, those around him can influence him negatively, and if he is already bad, he becomes even worse.
The “Declan Rice” hitmaker further pointed out that many Nigerians focus only on the President when things go wrong, instead of holding all political office holders responsible.
He said many people have been misled to believe that all problems start and end with the presidency. “You have your local chairman, councilor, senator, who are directly representing you, but you are holding only the president accountable for all the challenges our society is facing. Other public officials should also be held accountable.”
