“Politics is Something I’m Passionate About”, Tacha Hints at Future in Nigeria Politics
Tacha says she may join politics someday to help improve life for Nigerians.
She believes getting involved is better than only complaining about government decisions.
BBNaija star and social media influencer Tacha, has opened up about her interest in taking part in politics in the future.
In a chat with BBC Pidgin, she said she wants to be more involved in helping everyday Nigerians instead of only talking about the problems in the country.
According to her, “I feel like if you keep complaining about something, it only makes sense to get involved and maybe make certain decisions that’ll make things easier for people.”
Tacha stressed that government policies have a strong impact on people’s lives. She said: “People always say after God, it’s politics and truly, one policy from the government can make or break you. At the end of the day, it makes sense to get involved.”
While she has not made any concrete political moves yet, she noted that she will continue to use her voice and platform to push for accountability and better governance.
Her words: “Politics is something I’m passionate about, but like I said, I’m not the one making the decisions. However, I’ll just keep using my platform to push for good governance and hold our leaders accountable.”
