Tim Godfrey Responds to Criticism Over Oxlade Collaboration
Tim Godfrey defends featuring Oxlade on his new gospel track despite online criticism.
He says Jesus never judged anyone and his project speaks to real and imperfect people.
Gospel singer Tim Godfrey has spoken out after some fans questioned his decision to feature Nigerian artiste Oxlade on a new track titled Infinity.

The criticism followed concerns that a gospel singer should avoid working with an artiste who has been involved in past controversies, including leaked private content that once trended online.
In response, Godfrey shared an open letter addressing people who have been judged or pushed aside because of their appearance or history. He said he understands what it feels like to be labeled and misunderstood.
According to him, “Jesus never labeled people. He loved them.” He reminded critics that Jesus associated with those society rejected, adding that grace has no dress code.
Godfrey noted that his upcoming project, No Label, is more than just an album. He described it as a message to everyone who has been called names or made to feel unworthy.
He concluded by stressing that the work of Christ is for the real and imperfect, not those who claim to have everything together.
The No Label album is scheduled for release on October 31, 2025.
