UK-based jeweler and Lagos socialite Saidat Ashabi Balogun, popularly known as Omoge Saidat, has reportedly met with a prominent billionaire family in a bid to resolve the controversy surrounding the recent leak of her private videos.
The 55-year-old style icon has been trending on social media platform X after explicit clips allegedly involving her surfaced online last week. Despite the viral uproar, Omoge Saidat has yet to make any public statement regarding the incident.
Reports indicate that the leaked videos were recorded about two years ago and were originally shared privately with her then romantic partner. Sources suggest that a prominent billionaire family may be connected to the circumstances surrounding how the footage surfaced online.
In an effort to manage the situation, Omoge Saidat was reportedly invited to a private meeting at the family’s luxurious Ikoyi residence on Monday, October 28, around 10 a.m.
Sources familiar with the development revealed that those in attendance included the family patriarch, his wife, their son, a notable politician from Ogun State, and a few close relatives, who sought to address the growing media attention and protect the family’s reputation.
