The actress, popularly known for her role in Jenifa’s Diary, opened up in an emotional post on Instagram, explaining that celibacy comes with real struggles and constant temptation.
She revealed that there are times she feels the desire to be intimate but chooses to resist because of her faith and commitment to God.
Juliana added that her decision to remain celibate also affects her career choices, as she carefully reviews every movie role, especially those that require romantic or intimate scenes.
According to her, the entertainment industry can sometimes place pressure on her values, but her faith helps her stay strong and focused.
She wrote: “Sometimes I just want to have sx, I want to get laid. When people talk to me about sx purity, I wonder if they think I don’t have blood flowing in my veins. It’s not that I don’t have those feelings or desires, it’s just that more than anything, I love and honor God, and I hate to hurt Him.”
The actress added that maintaining her faith requires daily choice, not just in her personal relationships but also in her career.
“Every day I have to make a choice, even in my career. Should I take the role or not? I live in a world full of temptations, but I’ve learned to choose what aligns with my faith,” she said.
