Salah Matches Lampard’s Record in Premier League Goals
Mohamed Salah has matched Frank Lampard’s record for Premier League goal involvements after scoring in Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Aston Villa.
The Egyptian now boasts 279 combined goals and assists.
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has drawn level with Chelsea legend Frank Lampard on the Premier League’s all-time goal involvement chart.

Salah reached the milestone after scoring in Liverpool’s 2-0 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday. The goal brought his total goal contributions in the competition to 279, equaling Lampard’s long-standing record.
With 190 goals and 89 assists, the Egyptian forward now shares third place with Lampard, who recorded 177 goals and 102 assists during his time in the league.
Only two players sit above them in Premier League history, Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney, who registered 311 goal involvements, and Newcastle icon Alan Shearer, who tops the list with 324.
Manchester United great Ryan Giggs completes the top five with 271 goal involvements, made up of 109 goals and 162 assists.
