Actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, of ordering the arrest of her siblings.
She alleged he’s using the arrests to pressure her into returning to rehab.
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, businessman and politician Ned Nwoko, of ordering the arrest of her siblings in an attempt to force her into returning to rehab over alleged drug use.
In a post shared via Instagram Stories, Daniels appeared distressed as she appealed for help, claiming that Nwoko had ordered the arrest of her older brother and sister and was allegedly threatening to have her younger sister arrested next unless she complied with his demand to return to rehab.
“Someone please help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind. My big brother and big sister have been arrested. My baby sister might be arrested soon as well until I return and, according to him, return to rehab,” she wrote.
The actress alleged that Nwoko had been spreading damaging rumors about her, calling her a drug addict and a criminal. She vowed to one day speak publicly about his alleged involvement in the issues surrounding her image and reputation.
Daniels also expressed frustration over the ongoing conflict, saying she had tried to stay calm despite being provoked.
“I’m trying, I’m really trying to be the bigger person by not saying or doing anything, whereas I’m young and emotional! Leave my family alone, Ned!” she added.
She lamented that the situation could ruin the image they once shared as a couple. “A big shame that the beautiful but short legacy we built is about to be ridiculed by the whole world,” she wrote.
As of press time, Ned Nwoko has not issued any public statement in response to the allegations.
