Mother of Four Declared Missing in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos

A 45-year-old hairdresser, Oluwafunmilayo Adesuyi, has been declared missing in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos.

Her family has urged the public to assist with any information about her whereabouts.

A 45-year-old woman, Oluwafunmilayo Oluwaseun Adesuyi, has been declared missing in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State.

According to her eldest son, Boluwatife Adesuyi, and her brother-in-law, Adekunle, the mother of four was last seen on September 17, 2025. Adesuyi, who works as a hairdresser, resides at House 1, Road 1, Onidogbo Town, Aiyeteju, Ibeju-Lekki.

Boluwatife explained that his mother left home on the morning of September 17 and has not been seen since. “All efforts to trace her whereabouts have proved unsuccessful,” he said, adding that the family has searched nearby communities and contacted her friends without success.

The family described her as tall and fair in complexion and noted that her sudden disappearance has left them deeply worried.

According to the family, the case has been reported to the police, who have begun investigations into her disappearance. They are appealing to members of the public to assist with any useful information that could lead to her safe return.

The family continues to appeal for prayers and public support as the search for their missing mother enters its seventh week.
