Regina Daniels’ Brother Sammy Denied Bail, Remanded Until November 28
A magistrate court has denied bail to actress Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, in a case linked to Ned Nwoko.
He was remanded until November 28, prompting family appeals for fairness and justice.
A magistrate court has denied bail to Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, following his arraignment on Thursday in a case reportedly linked to billionaire politician and businessman Ned Nwoko.

According to reports, Sammy was remanded in prison until November 28 after his court appearance. The update was shared by his brother, Sweezy, who posted a video online showing the poor conditions Sammy has allegedly been subjected to while in police custody.
Sweezy expressed disappointment over the court’s decision, claiming that his brother is being unfairly treated. He appealed to Nigerians to speak out against what he described as injustice.
This development comes after Sweezy had earlier accused Ned Nwoko of being behind Sammy’s arrest, although the politician has publicly denied filing any petition against the singer.
Adding to the family’s distress, their mother, Rita Daniels, shared a photo of Sammy in detention. The image, which quickly went viral, showed him sitting in an unkempt room with visible bruises on his arms and body, sparking public concern over his wellbeing.
The family continues to call for his release and for what they describe as a fair and transparent legal process.
