Adeboye Calls For Urgent Action On Security, Advises Government To Set 90-Day Deadline For Terrorism Fight
Pastor Enoch Adeboye has urged the Federal Government to act swiftly to end Nigeria’s insecurity.
He advised giving security chiefs 90 days to restore peace or resign from their positions.
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged the Federal Government to take swift and strategic steps to end the country’s worsening security crisis.

Speaking during the November Holy Ghost Service at the church’s headquarters along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Adeboye expressed concern over the growing insecurity in different parts of Nigeria and the need for the government to respond with urgency and wisdom.
He stated that if he were to offer advice, he would recommend that the government act fast and find a diplomatic way to appeal to the President of the United States to delay certain decisions or actions for about 100 days. According to him, that window would give Nigeria time to properly address its internal security challenges before further external pressure or consequences arise.
Adeboye went on to suggest that within that period, security chiefs should be given a direct and time-bound mandate. He said they should be told to end terrorism and restore peace across the nation within 90 days or be ready to resign.
“Within that time, the security chiefs should be given a clear instruction end terrorism within 90 days or step aside,” Adeboye stated.
He noted that the situation in the country required more than speeches and sympathy, adding that strong leadership, planning, and accountability were vital to restoring confidence among citizens. He also emphasized the need for unity and collective prayer, reminding Nigerians that lasting peace can only come through a combination of divine intervention and responsible governance.
