Anambra Governorship Election: Voting Kicks Off at Agu-Awka Polling Unit
Voting has commenced at Demonstration Primary School II in Agu-Awka as residents queue to cast their ballots.
INEC officials are coordinating the process smoothly as the Anambra election begins.
Voting has started at Polling Unit 001, Ward 8, Demonstration Primary School II, located in Agu-Awka, Awka South Local Government Area, with residents turning out to take part in the Anambra governorship election.


Footage from the area shows voters patiently queuing while officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) coordinate the process and ensure election materials are properly distributed.


According to reports, sixteen candidates from different political parties are contesting in the election, including the incumbent governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), who is seeking a second term in office.
